What do the terms on a pallet specification mean?
Length: Distance in inches from left to right
Width: Distance in inches from front to back
Width and Length are interchangeable
Dynamic Capacity: Weight in pounds (lbs) that the pallet can hold
while being moved with a forklift or pallet jack
Static Capacity: Weight in pounds (lbs) that the pallet can hold while
sitting on the floor
Fork Entry: Usually expressed as 2 way or 4 way.
Indicates the number of sides from which the pallet can be accessed by a forklift or pallet jack
